Senior Design Verification Test Engineer
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on position in a fun and fast-paced development environment, requiring a self-starter interested in being an integral part of a multi-disciplined team. You will work closely with the design engineers to test and validate embedded control system software for different types of motor controllers and power converters. The position will require the ability to develop C language programs and Python test scripts, understand hardware schematics, generate product test specifications and perform functional tests.
Responsibilities
· Develop and enhance plans and procedures that define test strategies and coverage
· Derive system tests from functional specifications and requirements
· Document test results for corrective actions and defect tracking
· Mature the test and design verification process
· Develop and maintain Python test scripts
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
· 5+ years experience performing software quality assurance and design verification testing of embedded systems
Required Skills & Experience
· Experience designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
· Familiarity of test fixture hardware and software design
· Organized and efficient, able to plan projects and execute to plan
· Familiarity with the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and JTAG emulators for evaluation and testing of embedded systems

Senior Test Engineer
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on position in a fun and fast-paced development environment, requiring a self-starter interested in growing his or her skill set. You will be responsible for the design and development of test solutions for digitally controlled power electronics systems used in AC and DC motor drives, inverters, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, battery chargers, and other power control applications ranging from below 1kW to over 100kW. This position requires a mix of experience in both hardware and software design. Ideal candidates will posses strong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task and work well in a self directed environment is essential.
Responsibilities:
· Participate early in the new product development process to ensure the appropriate "design for testability" features are incorporated into product requirements
· Define test procedures for product design verification
· Participate in design reviews, and provide status reports on schedule, technical details and project progress
· Design hardware test solutions for the product under test ranging from test jigs using discrete power components to mixed signal printed circuit boards
· Develop and implement C code test software for embedded systems
· Develop and implement test scripts running on a host PC
· Perform reliability testing of prototype and production units
· Act as liaison between engineering and manufacturing
· Analyze test results and generate corrective actions for engineering and manufacturing
· Create and maintain test system documentation in a neat and organized fashion for peer review
· Work proactively with the engineering team to ensure design and manufacturing defects are resolved
· Provide QA process training to manufacturing personnel
Qualifications
· Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
· 5+ years of experience designing test systems for microprocessor controlled equipment

· Analog and digital circuit design

Embedded Software Engineer
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on position in a fun and fast-paced development environment, requiring a self-starter interested in growing his or her skill set. You will be responsible for the embedded S/W design and development of digitally controlled power electronics systems used in AC and DC motor drives, inverters, DC/DC converters, voltage regulators, battery chargers, and other power control applications ranging from below 1kW to over 100kW. The position requires expertise in the development of C code for real-time control applications.
Responsibilities
· Review design proposals, statements of work, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility
· Conceive of S/W designs to meet intended functions while working closely with other engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement resources to optimize for reliability, cost, manufacturability, and performance
· Propose S/W architectures and implementation concepts
· Perform product analysis and simulation using tools such as MATLAB and MATHCAD
· Develop and implement DSP power system control algorithms
· Prepare and present S/W design status at design reviews, and provide reports on schedule, technical details and project progress
· Maintain documentation for each S/W design in a neat and organized fashion for review by other engineering personnel and customers
· Review S/W designs and analysis of other engineers to ensure proper application of design techniques
· Travel on a limited basis
Qualifications
